Information about horses

To start a horse mission, you need a Horse Medal. You can get one in the monkey dungeon.

There are horses for three levels of riders: beginner, intermediate and expert. When you have practised enough and want to get to the next level, you have to pass a test.

Depending on the individual pressures put on horses by their riders, horses need different types of food. Riding beginners should feed their animals with hay, advanced riders should feed their animals with carrots and expert riders that demand a lot from their horses, should only feed their horses with red Ginseng. When it comes to food, horses can be very picky.

The condition of your horse is shown by means of a simple indicator: Green means that it is healthy, yellow means it is hungry. Red is dangerous, as it means that your horse is undernourished. You have to feed your horse if the indicator is yellow or red. It is a serious business if your horse dies.

When you ride your horse, it's health slowly depletes and it becomes exhausted. You can't ride a horse without health. Therefore, you have to let it rest occasionally.

There are rumours going round that a dead horse can be revived with Monkey Herbs. However the herbs are strictly guarded by monkeys, and it seems to be difficult to get hold of them. Rumour has it that if you are caught by the monkeys, they will curse you, and you'll be transformed into one of them.

A rider's skills can vary a lot. If you have a Horse Medal, you can improve the level of your mount.
