The exciting adventures of Metin2 are about to begin. For starters, please find the City Guard. He will provide you with some basic information and various assignments. If you would like to go hunting, you will find wild animals on the outskirts of the village borders. They will be shown on the minimap as red dots. You should concentrate on the Wild Dogs first, as they are the easiest targets. Good luck!

Find the City Guard

Talk to the City Guard by clicking on him. He's the NPC that the arrow is pointing at. If you can't see him, you might be too far away. Follow the blinking circles on the map until you reach the City Guard.

City Guard:

You must be new in town! I see they haven't made you a soldier yet. Have you had any training at all yet? Look at yourself! Have you ever even used a weapon? Listen up! You have to be careful if you want to survive this war. I'm going to assist you until you have reached level 10. And don't be fooled into thinking that it's going to be easy! Now move!

Now go and learn some basics for combat and hunting! Once you have reached a higher level, return to the village and talk to me again. Why are you still standing here? You won't get experience by just standing around!
